Aunty Salafai, even though you’ve been promoted to Paradise, you’re still bringing everyone together. You’d be so proud of us, working to each of our individual strengths, with our powers combined things are running so smoothly, there is so much peace and of course heaps of laughs too!
Despite the circumstances, what I’ve loved is reuniting with my Mums side and especially meeting new family I’ve known of but never realised we were related.
My Uncles Aunties, cousins, nieces and nephews have been amazing, were ALL IN for you Aunty! The last of my Grandmothers siblings to depart earthside, so this reunion is special on all accounts!
It’s been just over 2 years since I’ve been home, and absolutely love being amongst my aiga. I love seeing my Mum with her first cousins, its like they’re teenagers all over again, and just beautiful to see them giggling, praying and encouraging each other.
Seeing my nephs and nieces helping out is a sight to see, it feels like yesterday when our generation were doing the same at Uncle Numeras farewell some 28 years ago!
Love how we are all doing what we can to make Aunty’s last few days one we can all be proud of. A farewell fit for our Samoan Queen, who really was blessed and highly favouredβ€
