Day 8/30 #LiveHard #Phase1

UPDATE: Thought it might be a good time to provide a wee update on how things are trekking with Phase 1. 8 days in and I am getting used to cold showers auoi, don’t think I’ll ever like the taste of protein shakes, and can never go wrong with spending time outdoors. Surprised at even though there are 3 additional tasks that I’m able to still keep everything above board with “life” plus tick off the tasks. One of the power tasks is reading 10 pages of a non fiction book, and the current book I’m reading is James Clear: … Continue reading Day 8/30 #LiveHard #Phase1

Day 7/30 #LiveHard #Phase1

International Womens’ Day has arrived, and I’ve loved seeing all the posts online of women being celebrated, the brothers also sharing their love for their Mums, Sisters and other women who have helped in their journey. I am blessed to have been raised by strong women in my Mother & Grand Aunty, to have two inspiring sisters, supportive cousins, truth-telling Aunties and gifted sista sistas in my corner who have been my cheerleaders since day dot and to my new tribe of sista sistas who I have met while in Narrm, I am so thankful. There is magic when like-minded … Continue reading Day 7/30 #LiveHard #Phase1

Day 6/30 #LiveHard #Phase1

Tis the week to celebrate women, so rather than type out my musings, wanted to give space to the late Maya Angelou and her infamous poems Phenomenal Women and Still I Rise to take centre stage: Phenomenal Woman Pretty women wonder where my secret lies.I’m not cute or built to suit a fashion model’s sizeBut when I start to tell them,They think I’m telling lies.I say,It’s in the reach of my armsThe span of my hips,The stride of my step,The curl of my lips.I’m a womanPhenomenally.Phenomenal woman,That’s me. I walk into a roomJust as cool as you please,And to a … Continue reading Day 6/30 #LiveHard #Phase1

Day 5/30 #LiveHard #Phase1

In the last month or so, I have been meeting with some beautiful wahine of Moana Oceania at Williamstown early Sunday mornings. With all the feminine energy amongst us, the conversations have centred around our creative and professional pursuits, to gratitude, to sharing our hearts desires and everything else in between. There is something about the moana (ocean) the healing properties that come with her, and lately I’ve been finding peace that only comes by being close to her, whether its Williamstown, or even just walking along the Yarra, it instantly is calming. Decades ago while on a family church … Continue reading Day 5/30 #LiveHard #Phase1

Day 4/30 #LiveHard #Phase1

I was struggling to find something to write about (lawdy I have 26 more to do se come on Mo), so reached out to my padna in crime Lois Lane and Dear Future Husband was thrown out so here goes (cue in Meghan Trainor) ‘DEAR FUTURE HUSBAND, here’s a few things you’ll need to know if you wanna be, my one and only all my life’ I hope that by the time we meet that you are healthy in mind body and soul, and that you’ve been able to do some great things on both the personal and the professional … Continue reading Day 4/30 #LiveHard #Phase1

Day 3/30 #LiveHard #Phase1

This is what happens when you don’t plan your day out accurately, still up late in the midnight hour trying to ensure all critical tasks are ticked before catching some z’s. Today was a good day despite the not so great results from tonight’s fixture (still mad love for the Rebels #LivingLove regardless, onwards). At the end of last year I was accepted into the 2022 Observership Programme for the Melbourne Chapter ( this programme also runs in Sydney and more recently Brisbane). 96 applicants were selected from the 300 that applied from Victoria, and rapt that for the next … Continue reading Day 3/30 #LiveHard #Phase1

Day 2/30 #LiveHard #Phase1

Have just spent the last few hours reading board papers, and floored at how much information I’ve ingested these last few weeks. Who would have thought that this would be part of my day to day, I’m not complaining, but definitely may need to purchase a few more blue light glasses ha! Fairly quiet work day as team travelled to Sunshine Coast, so used my lunchbreak to do a quick walk around Olympic Park ( outdoor activation TICK), & ’twas a beaut day in Naarm that’s for sure (prayers up for those living in Queensland and Northern NSW). I read … Continue reading Day 2/30 #LiveHard #Phase1

Day 1/30 #LiveHard #Phase1

For the mere few who read my musings on WP, my last post I believe was around finishing #75Hard mid December 2020 (this is a prerequisite for Phase 1). After umm’ing and ahh’ing about what to give up for Lent this year, thought it would be a good time to kick off Phase 1! I literally decided while at the gym warming up waiting for my PT to arrive, those think it, then just do it. What does Phase 1 of #livehard involve you ask? Well I’m glad you asked:) Andy Frisella lays it all out below, on top of … Continue reading Day 1/30 #LiveHard #Phase1

#75Hard

DAY 75/75 (14/12/21) ✅ I’ve finished my crazy ride with Andy Frisella’s 75 Hard Programme, so thought it was time to ‘pay my fee’ and share the journey, never know it might resonate with someone a ea? However, If I’m brutally honest this specific blog post is for me, to celebrate me, as I’m fricken proud of myself in sticking this out, even when as Frisella would say the B!tch voice was trying to not allow me to be great (as my bestie Puna would say). My younger siblings were the ones who introduced our family to this programme, a … Continue reading #75Hard
